John emigrated to Canada in 1951. While waiting for sponsorship papers to continue on to California, to pursue his carrier of a movie actor, he fell in love with a Canadian, young lady and decided to settle in Canada. He enrolled in a drama school and after four years, became a professional actor. He performed on stage, radio, film and television. He stared and guest star in over 60 TV and Film productions. As well as 12 stage productions. With such names as, Melvin Douglas, Donald Sutherland, William Shatner, Barry Moors, Lesley Neilson, Anthony Quale, Jack Parlance, Michelle Lee, to name a few. He married Edith Margaret in 1953 and had four children, two boys and two girls. He is also a member of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, with the rank of Grand Cross.
