My wife, yep Eden you recall her, visited a place called Leek, where I discovered Moorlands Radio and Solid Gold Gem. Later the founder of Moorlands Radio (Tony Mullins) made me so jingles.
So on Saturday 28th Aug 2021 at 12:00 turned off autoplay and clicked play on a preselected youtube video, and I was live for the first time in many years. So I piped the output of Sam into a channel of my Multimix 8 and my regular desktop pc output into another. The output of the mixer returned to the playout machine where my shoutcast server relayed it to the world and beyond. Well you and the folks at Gem and Moorelands, and da studio builder, gave me the kick. I'm a jingle guy, so a show with no carts (jingles) is going to be a challenge, but it has been planned.
A little rusty, but got back on the bike quite well. The difference between processed audio, and just plain youtube, was surprising. We will be better equipped next week. Hope you like it.
