released the debut 45 RPM from Velvet Underground drummer Maureen
Tucker, a Lou Reed composition "I'm Sticking With You." As music critic
for Musician's (a monthly Boston magazine) and writer of thousands
of CD/DVD/book/song/film reviews and biographies for AllMusic.com he
covered Mitch Ryder's pivotal Detroit lp (where the Rock n' Roll animal
was truly born,)along with the music of Lou Reed and the Velvet
Underground including a biography of Reed guitarist Steve Hunter. Joe's
TV show, Visual Radio, has about 1,000 hours of interviews including Lou
Reed, John Cale, Steve Hunter, Dick Wagner and others. He directed the
first documentary/concert film of Marty Balin of The Jefferson Airplane
and has produced hundreds of audio recordings including Buddy Guy
(featuring Nils Lofgren and Genya Ravan) and is currently the producer
of the Bobby Hebb/Sunny boxed set
