CODEC, Joel Vasquez, is a 19 year old DJ and beginning producer out of Los Angeles, CA. He works with a spectrum of genres ranging from electro house, house, progressive house, moombahton, dubstep, trap, hip-hop, and party favorites in general. Though he always feels at home with his high energy and blood pumping electro house sets he enjoys spinning all genres. He has been spinning since early 2008, bringing his experience being a part of an L.A. DJ group called World Class DJ's. After leaving Los Angeles to pursue his Bachelor's in Science for Electrical Engineering at University of the Pacific, he has been free lancing in Stockton, CA.
Since attending UOP, he has been part of the EDM Club named BPM. He has spun at a few events, Lights and Outdoor BPM, to name a couple. He aspires to spread and being a bigger presence in the DJ scene on his campus.
