Hello! Yes Joe Black is my real Name. I have been a DJ forever it seems like. Currently playing out in Los Angeles and soaking up the amazing music subculture there. Currently you can catch me playing anything from vinyl to cdj's to traktor, to djing with a live drum machine at the same time. I like to push the envelope and challenge myself as much as possible. Before I was a DJ I was a booking agent for teknomafia, one of the most successful artist management and promotion companies in america in the late 90s early 2000s, at the same time I was also working and designing with scarab records who were also a very big influence on the indy scene back in the late 90s early 2000's(Back when parties here would pull in 6,000 ever month). I moved to Chicago in 2003 after being offered work at dustraxx records. After a year I relocated to Los Angeles, was soon discovered and rocking some great sound systems, crowds(some 10,000+), and legendary parties.
