Born out of the loss of Yusuf 'Joe' Abraham's, whom we lost tragically in an accident at the age of 20, friends and family gathered to do good in his memory.

Thus, Joe's Feeding scheme was started with just a few pots of food being made to feed the hungry in our (then) community, Bo-Kaap.

In 2015 we officially registered as an NPO, changing our name to Journey of Enrichment.

The change also encompassed our desire to grow beyond just feeding the bellies of our needy communities.
We wish to:
FEED THE BODY- ENHANCE THE MIND -EMPOWER THE PEOPLE

We have also taken the water crisis into consideration and have opted for more water wise events.

Some of our work includes:
• Food Parcel Drives
• Sandwich Runs
• Hod Dog Drives
• Regular handing out of bread loaves
• Donation Drives for care packs and feminine products for our homeless and scholars
• Soup and/or Blanket Drives
