I make relics and things to tame a wild spirit by mixing ash, lead and magic...

As a child, I played in cemeteries, adventured into the forest alone, escaped to shadowy brooks and threw a football much further than the boys. As an adult, I still collect dead insects; I commune with small creatures, I like to play with fire and I refuse to sit still.

If anything at all, I have learned that I am simply an animal trapped inside a woman’s body - untamed, unkempt, traditionally nontraditional, vintage-ly modern and restlessly still.
