Starting out with an iPod DJ system in early 2010, Jason Melton (previously DJ Melt), started mixing house and trance music at small house parties. Realizing the potential in his growing DJ skills he decided to upgrade his equipment and start remixing the music as well as adding effects and loops to his live mixes. Only a year and a half later, Fister Mix-It emerged as his new alias as an up and coming DJ in and around the Pittsburgh area.
