J*Liquid AKA J Castillo's eclectic house music blends were heavily influenced by his childhood surroundings in Tijuana, Mexico- a city where music resonates in everyday life.
J Castillo has been playing for 16 years expressing his passion, talent and love for the movement through Deep, Tech, Minimal and Pumping house sets, he harmonically takes you on a journey with every set. J is the Owner/Founder of the Label Groovebeat. Groovebeat was established in 2007 as a San Diego based recording & mastering service for DJ’s. When he moved to Los Angeles California in 2008 he soon started throwing underground events in the area under Groovebeat and with the Activate LA Crew. J Castillo has worked organizing events since the late 90’s and early 2k’s with Club Orbit in Baja, and has worked with GoVentures in Los Angeles. J began performing since 1998 using the names Liquid George AKA J Liquid from 1998-2010.
