15 years behind the decks has taken Jimmy Choons on magical journey through sight and sound right across the globe. In his early years he was banging out hard house and Trance in the concrete jungle of Tokyo. Here as a young apprentice he played alongside the likes of Japans famous Trance DJ Tokanaga & Nukleuz Records head honcho Ed Real. When Choons returned to Australia he settled his sound down to align with the House Music crowd of the Land Down Under. For the next 10years he crafted his sound under the alias of Just James and played regular slots at Brisbanes mega-club FAMILY and also held residencies at MONASTERY and the sunshine coasts MOTOWN. He then took his skills and record bag across to the UK and played the Truly Scrumptious parties along the south east coast with HED KANDI big names Jack McCord, Wez Clark and Paul Hill. Returning to Australia he was then asked to play for HED KANDI for their mega new-years eve festival on Syndey Harbour.
