In 2006, I suffered a massive stroke, which left me paralyzed on my right side. I could not walk, talk or remember properly. During my recovery, gospel songs started to come into my mind and rather than waiting to recover fully from my stroke, I started to record the album in faith believing that God would help me to overcome the many obstacles that lay ahead. Then, in 2008 with two songs left to record on my first album, I suffered a major heart attack and I found myself fighting for my life. While recovering from this event, God confirmed his plan and purpose for the next chapter of my life. My health progressed, He restored me, and my music ministry began!
