I'm a career filmmaker but back in the day I made mixes with a turntable, a CD player, a VCR, and a DVD player. The units fed through a five channel mixer and were live-mixed into a sweet double cassette deck where they were recorded onto high grade audio cassette. I also performed this same DJ style live on Trent Radio. For a while I dabbled in turntablism but I didn't have decent decks, didn't progress and was probably just a poseur. Then I started making movies.
