Jesse Rivera is one of the founding members of Bassment Tapes Records. He approaches music with an open mind but always stays true to his sound. Mixing up different elements of techno, house and funk, he keeps it interesting in the DJ booth and in the studio.
While working with another label shortly after moving to Chicago from Detroit, he met veteran house producer Louie Gomez. The two traded ideas on building a new label that would give Chicago house music another perspective and formed Bassment Tapes in 2015.
