Having grown up on his parents eclectic combination of Gospel & Funk music (George Clinton, Morris Day), American Hip Hop, jamaican reggae (NWA ,Busta Rhymes,Run D.M.C,Bob Marley ,Tenna Saw,Yellow Man), synth-infused 80s music (Kraftwork,Mantronic,The Chemical bros,New Order)… all which became infused with his own love for both hip-hop and video game music, THE JFMC ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops,heavy brooding basslines, and vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat.
