This 24 March 1987 Progressions show begins with The Meat Puppets, Billy Bragg, Alex Chilton, Sister Carol, and the Butthole Surfers. It was hosted by Jeremy Butler.

The Progressions radio show highlighted alternative music in the 1980s--punk, new wave, ska, garage band, psychedelic, and more. It aired on WVUA-FM (The University of Alabama) for over 10 years.
