Jeph Cee (Jeffrey Chartos) began learning how to dj in 1999 on two Technics turntables and a Vestax 05 pro mixer. Heavily influenced by Washington DC’s
EDM scene and DJ Dara’s online internet show “Velocity”.
Since then Jeph Cee has spun at numerous weekly venues in Virginia, Washington, DC and Baltimore, Md as of recent.
Jeph Cee dedicates his mixes to be a seamless and smoove transferring of energy from one track to the next. With plenty of double drops, bass switching, EQ tweaking and scratching.
Jeph Cee’s DJ sets are aggressive and full of energy. Ranging from dark and melodic tunes to soulful, bassy and amen heavy tracks. Sub-genres from live sets include Neurofunk, Jump-Up, Darkstep, Hardstep (pots & pans), Jungle, Soulful and Liquid drum & bass.
