Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Dzenan Mujkanovic, a.k.a. Jens Sowack was born on 18.05.1981. in Zenica, Bosnia & Herzegovina. As a little kid, he was passionate towards music (he says that he inherited this passion from his mother). In the age of six, he started to sing in children's quire who's founder was maestro Milenko Karovic. In '98 he started to work as a producer, and started a project named Bass Reflex Sound, along with a friend Edis Skopljak, a.k.a. Edd Spira. In 2001. guitar player Goran Tanko (Croatia), and vocals Alan Hajduk (Gluho Doba, Dubioza Kolektiv) and Zlatan Karic (Os3ice, Stage Funkaz) joined the project. This team recorded few new big beat and drum'n'bass songs. With song Better b Serious they won their first award – first place in Heineken music fest (2002.) in cathegory „Best experiment in music“. Currently, he's hosting a radio show on Dance+ Radio and Q Radio called "Bassnian Drummatics" which is mostly break beat, dubpstep & drum 'n' bass oriented.
