NowVertical is not a serious musical enterprise. Instead, I intend to use it as a placeholder for all the recordings (where copy right allows) still available to me that I have been involved with since first picking up a friends battered classical guitar back in 1984.
The naming convention used for the tracks on the reverbnation page is as follows:
Year Recorded - Band/Artist Name - Track Title.
I am primarily a bassist but have been known to dabble on a 6 string guitar when called for.
All instruments on tracks recorded by NowVertical are played by me. They are not so much written, more jammed into existance in the space of one sitting. It was very rare for me to revisit a track again as I found it difficult to get back into the same headspace so most of the tracks are incomplete sketches.
I have included a few rough band recordings that I have been involved with over the years. If any of these bands have an issue with copyright/quality control please do not hesitate to contact me
