I have been a college radio DJ since 1979, and on WRSU FM (The Rutgers University station) since 1980. I spent about a decade producing radio both in New York/New Jersey as well as nationally on NPR and other networks.

I got smart sometime in the 1990s and stopped trying to do radio as a career.

For me, radio is the greatest hobby in the world. I am fortunate to be given almost free reign at WRSU. I can create the kind of radio I enjoy, with the hope that my listeners like it too.

I did a 60 minute Punk/New Wave show called "Flexible Vinyl" for 22 years on WRSU. I plan to put some of those shows here on Mixcloud.

In January of 2013 I started doing a completely free form radio show called "No Format: The Free Form Show". WIth this show I am striving to recreate the approach and feeling of free form radio when it was in its heyday (The late 60's into the mid 70's), but with a wider range of music. Enjoy!
