Jeffry Z. aka. “Redd”, a Chinese DJ/Producer originally from Shanghai and currently based in Edinburgh, UK, is considered to be one of the rising Asian Trance artists in the young generation.
His passion for Trance music stems from not only his own interest but also his talent in music. Influenced by legend Paul Van Dyk’s classic “Let Go”, he started his musical journey in 2009 at the age of 13, with the purchase of a simple Numark DJ controller. Within the 5 years, Redd has significantly gained his ability in music performing as well as music production. Now, he is capable of not only performing with most types of decks but also producing with Ableton live 9.
