Jeff Ansted has served as president of American Broadband & Telecommunications president, which he established in his basement, in 2003. He has overseen the company's operations and success in becoming the third largest rural-focused competitive local exchange carrier in the country. Charged with all aspects of strategic direction for the company, he also oversees marketing and finance. Under Jeff Ansted’s leadership, the company has activated and serviced more than 3.5 million customers in the United States and Puerto Rico since 2009.

Named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, Mr. Ansted received an Entrepreneur & Business Excellence Hall of Fame Award in 2015. Prior to founding American Broadband & Telecommunications, he spent several years as the director of national sales for Covad Communications.

Mr. Ansted holds a bachelor of science in marketing from the University of Toledo.
