Electronic music became a part of Jay's life in 1999. At a house party, he wandering into the living room that had a DJ spinning. Entranced, he watched as the DJ mixing one record into another for hours. That night he decided he wanted to DJ.

He decided to study and watch other DJ's before climbing behind the decks. So for 1 year, he went to clubs, house parties and anywhere he heard there would be a DJ spinning and watched. Asking as many questions as he could along the way,until he felt he was ready to take it on himself. The rest is history.

Starting out at house parties in the early millennia, he then moved to LA signing with Suspects. Inc. He quickly found a residency at a gym of all places in downtown Hollywood called Groove Fitness. A great venue as it was essentially a dance club inside a gym. From there he started getting requests to play at parties in Hollywood and ultimately got to play in the patio at Spunde.
