After training in painting, printmaking, and calligraphy at Guildford School of Art, UK, my practice broadened into other areas, primarily ceramic, mosaic and environmental art.
Since discovering that scanner-photography is the most amazing and accessible tool for macro images and printmaking, I've been fascinated by the medium. In 2006 I exhibited large scale scanner-prints reflecting the changing seasons for the Art Farm Project in Devon, and I continue to make scanner-studies of plants and flowers, not only in their prime but also in the process of decay, often including other material such as plastic toys and everyday found objects.
