Vocal and instrumental group Zemljotres (Earthquake) was founded on July 20, 2008 in Aradac, RS. The band plays mostly rock and roll with elements of blues, country and progressive sound. The idea to form the band came in May, 2008 from Janko Hrubik (guitar) and Jano Litavski (vocals), and in July they were joined by Ivan Hrubik (drums) and Vladimir Bagljaš (bass). Ivan Hrubik couldn't enter the band earlier because they waited for him to grow up (they are still waiting).
A great impact on the group came from bands like Atomsko Sklonište, Riblja Čorba, Psihomodo Pop, Buldožer, AC/DC, Rolling Stones and others, so the band began covering their songs. They had their first gig in October in Belo Blato, where they received an amazing support from the audience and decided to continue with their work. From the very beginning they performed wearing unusual clothing, and using various props, thus turning every show into an unforgetable performance. Since then, Zemljotres was shaking the stages
