Jan Hovind, a DJ and Producer for the Swiss Label "Stahlplatten", is a 1974 in Zurich born half-norwegian and very well known DJ in the Swiss Techno scene. 1991 he dove into the scene and in 1995 bought his first albums, quickly becoming an obsession. 1997 Cyber Ranch had a new resident DJ which is a well known club just outside Zurich. In 2000 he dazzled the clubers at Zurich Rohstofflager, where he was regularly booked until its closing end 2010. Follwing came national and international bookings with artists like Ben Sims, Advent, Dave Clarke, Cari Lekebusch, Gayle San, Chris Liebing and many more.
In addtion, Jan Hovind goes on air via his monthly radio show, Nachaktiv.fm since 2008 by Radio Lora in Zurich. This slot is well known and is broadcasted every third Friday per month starting at midnight.
