Janel Roland fell in love with House music in 1996 after attending her first underground party. In 1999, she fell even deeper into her passion after purchasing her first pair of Technic 1200s. By early 2000, Janel was already being featured at prominent clubs in and around the Mid-west. The DJ, singer, songwriter, built her reputation in the Chicago scene by spinning and singing in the city's best hot spots: SmartBar, Sound Bar, Red no 5, and Zentra. She has shared the decks with world famous DJs such as DJ Heather, Diz, Derrick Carter, Paul Johnson, Jay J, Dixon and King Britt. She eventually found herself jet-setting to locals across the US, Europe, and Asia.

Her unique blend of energy, talent and passion meshes well with the creative lifestyle in Austin, Texas where she works tirelessly in the studio, DJs in and around the U.S. and collaborates with various artists.
