London, United Kingdom

DJ and philosopher.

Spent the 90s DJing with vinyl, mainly DnB/Jungle, 2-step Garage & Breakbeats, though some techno too. Played in parties and clubs in South London, some dodgy festivals in the rest of UK too. Gave up in 99 to concentrate on my academic career, though did occasional gigs in 2000s playing from my entire catalogue: from ska and early electronic, to acid house and 60s punk, and so on. Getting back into music making again: DJing with digital kit (DDJ1000 & rekordbox) attached to my SL1210mk2s, playing bass (Squier P-bass & Ibanez electro-acoustic), building tracks with Ableton Live.

I still write, supervise PhD students and speak at international conferences: on futures/anticipation, creative practice and ontological processes; and on superheroes.

In addition, I have six goats, a bunch of chickens, oh yeah, and four children.
