Jamie was born in Whitney, Nevada and left when he turned 5 to Detroit, Michigan. Where he was raised by his grandad parents while parents where vividly in the picture. While growing up he watching various childhood tv, Lazy Town , The BackYard Agains, and many more shows that dealt with singing. His mother (Lakisha Inman) knew of her sons capability to sing and he was for a while. In school his friends would have rap battle and he would be the only one not rapping. When Jamie turned 13, puberty took his whole dreams of music down the drain. Every time he would sing his voice would just crack and he would just quit. Then his role model (Chris Brown) started doing more music that Jamie could relate to.
He started getting back into music. Just practicing and practicing till his voice started developing more. During his Freshmen year at (Martin Luther King Jr. Sr. Hs) in Detroit he had many failures, challenges, and lessons. Yet he didn't give up and now has bright future.
