Dr. Omar A. Kowlessar leads OAK Psychological Services. He is a HCPC registered Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 18 years experience specialising in adult mental health (ages 16+). Dr. Kowlessar offers diagnostic assessments and a range of evidence-based psychological therapies to members of the public as well as clinical supervision and mentoring to psychologist and non-psychologist health professionals.

He is qualified in multiple psychological therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT, BABCP accredited); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT); Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR); Mentalization-based Treatment (MBT); Brief Solution-focused Therapy (BSFT) and Structured Clinical Management (SCM). Dr. Kowlessar is also trained to assess and diagnose autism (ADOS-2).
