Philly’s RVLVR is James Sauppe, a drummer, pianist, composer, and producer who has released official records on Noremixes, Slit Jockey Records, Seclusiasis, New Low, & Pixelord’s, #InternetGhetto.

James earned a BM in Music Performance in 2009 from The University of the Arts in Philly. Although his academic focus was centered around jazz, he grew up playing in orchestras and pit orchestras and has played in several rock bands over the years, making his eclectic background a key element of his electronic compositions. As a performer he’s shared bills with DJ Shiftee, Elijah, Gosteffects, KOAN Sound, Gemini, Starkey, Proper Villains, Dev79, Willy Joy, Sex Cult, Ninjasonik, Victor Niglio, Si Young, and many many more.
