James has spent his life growing up around music and was heavily inspired by Manchester's club scene. Through attending events in his hometown, he has developed his own taste and passion for underground music, in particular the techno and minimal genre.

Having re-located to Leeds in 2017, James had an instant impact on the scene playing at some of the most respected clubs in the city. His steady rise in popularity prompted him to form his own brand Dimension in 2018.

James’ sets have become increasingly well known in recent times, landing him spots on a number of line-ups. Some highlights include playing at the latest edition of Mint Festival as well as supporting some huge names such as The Martinez Brothers, Hot Since 82, Richy Ahmed, Mason Collective, Detlef, Seb Zito and Ben Sterling.
