My Father gave me my first turntable and a handful of 45's at the age of 4. I began Dj'ing at the age of 13 with my Cousin, Paul Johnson; one of Chicago's House Music Legends!
I DJ'd on a local radio station in Chicago, WKKC in High School. At Illinois State University, I was given the name DJ Acid by two of my close friends.
Over the years I've had guest spots at venues throughout Chicago, as well as, the opportunity of playing with many well known DJ's.
I termed the moniker "HOT LIKE FIRE" for my mixes and the way I play live sets, so it transcended to become part of my DJ name.
Creator of "IT'S HOUSE THURSDAY'S" broadcasting every Thursday from 6-8pm CST on Mixcloud Live.
