Jalal Othman

Jalal Othman worked as a lecturer at the college of journalism, Azaytuna, Azawia, and University of Tripoli. He has been a certified as a trainer in the field of media and journalism since 2008. Jalal used to work as a correspondent and TV show presenter for several TV and radio channels in Libya. He has also worked for different newspapers and magazines as a reporter and writer. In addition he is the founder and chairman of the Libyan institution for investigative journalism. Jalal is interested in writing short story, lyrics, photography and documentaries. In the other hand, he is teaching MOJO, Online Journalism, investigative journalism the last 2 years in the University of Tripoli. He also Certified form the Institute for War and Peace Reporting IWPR to teach the Digital Security. Finally, the past five years Mr. Othman has participated many workshops on data journalism, mobile journalism, investigative journalism, reporting, and Fact checking, in Germany, Jordan and Tunisia.
