Four years ago I started The Jake Feinberg Show (www.jakefeinbergshow.com) which is a free form radio show dedicated to telling the story of modern music through interviews with individuals who have created it for the last 50 years. I ask these musicians questions they have not been asked before. I give them space to explore stories and ideas in a setting that allows for a level of exploration that improvisational music requires. <br />

I have interviewed over 400 musicians/promoters/entertainers/impresarios/historians who are responsible for carrying on American music. In most cases their careers were well under way before I was born (1978). I have devoted my professional life over the last four years to building an unparalleled oral history of music that continues to grow. The hundreds of hours of content are relevant to the social history, cultural relevance, and most importantly the sustainability of music. <br />
