Retro Kid is UK-born electronic producer Jake Juba.
Living and working in Copenhagen’s multicultural Nørrebro district, Jake has worked with a range of different vocalists to produce an electronic interpretation of their stories.
Using breakbeat rhythms, wonky synths and lo-fi samples, Retro Kid’s music smashes together many genres, to find a sweet spot between IDM and soul which he calls melancholy funk
