Jacqui started busking at 14 years of age. She gained post-graduate studies in opera and music theatre from the Victorian College of the Arts assisted by a BP Award and furthered her study of ornamental singing in Central Java assisted by Indonesian and Australian government grants. Highlights have included singing for the Australian Broadcasting Commission and singing Live to Air Radio Republic Indonesia, improvising at Sydney's Entertainment Centre Fashion Festival, singing for The Victoria State Opera. singing for Central Javanese villages, and singing and composing for Chamber Made Opera. Since 1995 Jacqui has focused on sacred music, and more recently Celtic sacred music. She sang as a regular cantor at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Melbourne for about six years, and has sung in concerts for many churches and festivals. She recently sang at the 2013 Echuca Moama Celtic Festival and is a represented composer of The Australian Music Centre. Her compositions are held in libraries.
