Yakubu Moses Gago, better known by his stage name Jacob Gago, is a Nigerian Music Producer and DJ that was born in the Fiji Islands. As a young boy, Jacob Gago accidentally drank a toxic acid that left him nearly for dead. Doctors said there was no chance of survival. Miraculously, Jacob kept holding on, struggling for his life as he traveled all over the world being held in different hospitals. It was within his travels to different hospitals that gave him the opportunity to experience different cultures and different styles of music that led him to want to become a music producer.
Jacob plays five instruments, the piano, drums, bass, guitar, and ukulele. Jacob primarily produces Hip Hop and Electronic Dance Music, but has also produced music for artist in genres such as Pop, Reggae, and music for TV, film, and games.
