Started sharing from SoundCloud (May 2016). But a long story short...
Dj'ed from around 87 to 93, starting off in a wine bar in Swaffham, Norfolk, England - I was 17 years old at the time. From there I bought my first set of Technic SL 1200 turntables and a mixer - I started recording my own mix tapes, a promoter heard them and offered me a residency at his dance parties...
I also started Dj'ing regularly around Norfolk but I soon discovered my heart wasn't in it - I loved the music not the giging and I certainly didn't get the whole 'stadium Dj' thing either, for me it has always been about the music not the Dj... and then when things started to get darker and faster (around 93') I gave it up professionally, and went back to school.
Never leaving the music, I would still record mixtapes and from time to time, play small parties. Now, 45 years old and still enjoying the electronic bleeps - recently I decided to start recording again, admittedly the term 'mixtape' is out of date.
