Well Izzy is Izzy Einstein - Federal Prohibition Agent No. 1

Izzy operated between 1920 and 1925 in New York mostly. He was known for using disguises to buy alcohol where no one else was able to. He was the most successful agent of his time and was given the nickname "Hooch Hound" because he could go to any city in America and sniff out the hooch. In fact he made a bust just 36 seconds after arriving in New Orleans. After making 4,932 arrests of bartenders, bootleggers and speakeasy owners he retired from the agency.

We felt a great way to honor the old "Hooch Hound" would be to name our bar after him and make the "Hooch Hound" our logo.
