Ivana Visnjic is an actress and singer, born in New York. Her father was also an actor, and that made quite an influence on her. During high school she discovered how much acting means to her, by playing in most of the school’s theatre productions. After finishing high school, Ivana Visnjic moved to New York where she had earned a spot in one of the most prestigious acting schools, N.Y Academy of Arts.
While studying arts, Visnjic also tried her luck with modeling, and although she was able to achieve success, and was even photographed for the established magazine Mere, still she gave priority to acting, which was her life-long dream. Her beginnings and early career are mostly connected with stage roles, appearing in numerous theatre productions. In 1999 she made her big screen debut appearing in the film Red Fury, which was followed by a string of successful movie roles. Although film roles brought her popularity, fans and recognition, Ivana Visnjic never gave up on stage acting.
