Mashaya was born and raised in Pretoria, Mabopane Block A. He started collecting music cassetes at a very young age.
his parents bought him a pair of Stanton T60 Turntables back in 2000 after realising his love for music, Sis 'n Jones - Set Your Mind Free,
that was his first Vynil he bought.
He is a self-taught Deejay with a diverse knowledge of music. Coming from Pretoria, He was exposed to House music
played by local legends. He is capable of dishing out a huge variety of Music, Lounge, Hip Hop, House and Kwaito.

His long time use of Turntables has given him a good foundation in mixing, sequencing, track selection, and since then, he has not changed his mixing style.
He has played in most Local Clubs in and around Gauteng, and lots of house parties and corporate events.
