Artist Hunter Oceanus “oshe” spends his days raising goats in the mountains and his nights under the sparkle of the disco ball. From a young age music has been at the center of his life. Raiding his dads records he fell in love with the sounds of funk, jazz, blues and reggea. Soon after he began to study percussion and developed his own style. Today you can find oshe spinning everything from Disco funk, deep tech,
progressive house, garage, breaks, tech house, & organic
house. Percussive rhythms stay at the core of his sound.
Oshe is known for bringing high amounts of energy to his
performances. But this doesn’t always mean faster music. It means raising the energy in the room, the vibration if you will.
“My love for music was born on the dance floor, the feeling of being consumed in that moment happens when the dance floor and the dj are in synchronicity. When I’m behind the decks I’m having a conversation with the dance floor, but instead of using words, we dance.”
