Established in 2010, we were one of the first online Urban Music radio station's in the UK broadcasting to the world and their phones.
The Milton Keynes based station plays urban music around the clock with genres to suit one and all.
From Talk shows, Dance, Drum & Bass, Hip Hop, R&B, Funky House & Reggaeton. www.itoldusoradio.com is the brainchild of Mista Media and local DJ Furious Stylez aka Andy Browne who formulated the name for the station whilst in a recording studio 15 years ago.
Mista Media, who is also a music producer says;
“We were in the studio recording a mix tape and Andy was in the booth laying some finishing touches on the track when he randomly shouted out "I told you so radio".
I immediately stopped recording and said we are going to use that one day.”
After embarking on a mission of doing events, TV adverts, presenting on other stations and even building and co-owning a Jazz station in the capital Mista Media decided to come back to Milton Keynes to set up ITYSR.
