DJ M.J. Mellow is the musical alter ego of Portuguese multidisciplinary artist Joana Melo e Castro.

Founder of Lisbon Party People, former resident DJ at Pensão Amor for 7 years, and also former dj at JNcQUOI, Bom mau e Vilao e Ferroviario, M.J. Mellow has been part of Lisbon’s alternative nightlife, events and subculture for over 15 years.

Currently her sets move through retrowave, Italo disco, future funk, future disco and vintage eclectic selections — creating warm, cinematic and danceable journeys for sunsets, matinées, cultural spaces, beach clubs, boutique events and intimate dancefloors.

Currently based in Algarve, available for selected DJ sets.
