I've always loved music from an early age. My first recollections of music were listening to a Wombles album as a kid, then recording the top 40 on cassette on a Sunday night, making my sister sit in silence when copying tapes from one player to another and then getting my first Now album for Christmas. I had all the first 10 Now albums on cassette until my car was broken into and they all went.
As I grew up I loved Red Rose Radio, Atlantic 252 and especially Radio 1. Simon Bates 'Our Tune' , Alan Freeman's 'Pick of the Pops' and of course the Radio 1 Roadshows were never missed. I saw Bruno Brookes live in Kings Gardens Southport in the late 80s doing the roadshow. Brilliant days.
My favourite music is from the 80s and 90s. I don't really have a favourite genre though, my tastes go all across the board.
