Hello all! I want to say first, and foremost, THANK YOU!
To those who have been following me since my first upload to now, you all are the reason I do not give up on this fun little venture known as Iridyon. Although I have had my fair share of names since coming into the electronic music scene in 1999, who I am has not changed much.
I first fell in love with Trance music when I heard some wonderful DJs play in an old warehouse in North Austin, TX. From there my mind was opened to goa & psy trance, happy hardcore, drum & bass, UK hard house, and so many more. My love still remains trance, but mostly psytrance, with a close second being UK Hard House and Hard Trance. There's just something about the energy from tracks being layed down at 140-145 BPM.
The series "Harder Lessons" is kind of a "back to form" for me. At my peak in the San Antonio, TX DJ scene I was known for throwing down tracks at 145 and it didn't matter if it was trance, hard trance, or UK Hard House. This series of mixes is me touching base with a part of me that I sadly let slip away for far too long.
