Ira K. knows no musical bounds when it comes to mixing. In the early 90's he embraced the world of electronic music thru the Chicago RAVE scene. While his peers gravitated towards house music, Ira's punk rock roots and love for industrial drove him to to trance and techno.
In the late 90's, Ira took to his first set of Technics while in college. He considers Bloomington, Illinois and Chicago to be where he got his foothold in things, and began making a name for himself with his high energy sets.
In the early 2000's his DJing went on hiatus when after college he moved to Florida. Although he still played out, most of his mixing took place at home, where he also began toying with the production side of things.
In 2012 Ira moved back to Illinois, after a difficult decade down South.
Always musically eclectic, as a listener and performer, his sonic array has only broadened over the nearly 2 decades he has been DJing.
