INNOVATION’s , serious musical career began in early 2006 where he was still in grade 9. andhe used to attend jazz festivals at zoo lake with his dad at an early age of 5years. So coz his uncle owned a fully equipped dj equipment , he decided to teach the youngster how to djand it was during the mid-term holidays in june 2006 because he could see how the young man loved music and had a good ear for music ,but not jus any type ,soul,deep and nu-jazz, broken beats,he was inspired by the likes of DJ motsumi,positive-k,Vinni da vinci,china,mdoo,zakes(mix master)&paledi . his dad was also a dj in the early 70s and passed the skill to his brother “djgivaro” who is innovations uncle…whilst the other brother was a guitarist ! menyatsomathole who is a member of the group sakhile that the late sipho gumede used to be in
