In 2009, after 10-years working day-jobs – making music at night as a hobby, I sent my first demo to the first 3 record labels I could find on Google. It was an MP3 of a song I had written without any musical training, recorded in my home studio, with the only vocalist willing to VOLUNTEER for it.
A week later, after forgetting and giving up hope – I received a phone call from the A&R manager at Gresham Records, requesting a meeting with me to sign a contract that would put my single on the same CD as some of the world’s top DJ’s, available in stores countrywide, and on TV and Radio nationally.
I was so shocked – it took me 4-years to digest, and muster up the courage to try again! But this time, purely for the love of sharing, learning and collaborating - sharing the gift of music - a collaboration again with Nikita Saber and Eric Moog, transforming their 90bpm ballad into a 132 Dancefloor version. So privileged to have this published on the BoOoM! 2013/14 Yearmix.
