Electronic Music

Ilya Simioni was influenced by American music such as funk, soul, disco and r & b. In 1987, he took a course to DJ with Irai Campos, one of the forerunners of the DJ training course in Brazil. In 1989 he participated in the DMC BRAZIL and reached the top ten DJs along with some names still present in the music scene.
After his residence in Atlanta from 1989 to 1994 he made history in Sound Factory club, São Paulo until 1998. During this period he played on the radio program "Sound Factory the Best Party in Sao Paulo" on Metro FM radio. This program has great audience segment electronic underground, playing musical styles like house, techno, jungle and hardcore. This phase was marked by musical and cultural exchanges with foreign DJs, as brought enrichment and discovery of mixing long and uncut (prominent feature on the set of Ilya Simioni).
From 1997 to 2004 he worked at Rhythm Records record shop that revolutionized the record market in Brazil.
